Paul Martin, MHA's founder and president, is a nationally recognized expert on the development, management and eventual exit strategies for healthcare services businesses in the middle market. Since 2000, he has successfully assisted more than 200 healthcare businesses maximize value and profitably through the development and execution of strategic business and succession plans. As a consultant, mentor and speaker, Paul draws from his long history of success in healthcare mergers and acquisitions, business development, healthcare reimbursements and operations to show business owners how to create significant value throughout their entire organizations. Paul has authored more than 50 industry articles and publishes a monthly newsletter, The Martin Advisor.
Prior to MHA, Paul founded Physical Therapy and Sport Services, P.C., which he built to revenues of $15 million and personally negotiated the company's sale to NovaCare Inc. in 1996.
In addition to his master's degree in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University, Paul earned the prestigious "Certified Business Intermediary" (CBI) and M&AMI designations by the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). These internationally recognized professional certifications are awarded to M&A Source and IBBA members who have completed coursework and have demonstrated proven professional excellence in M&A activity through verified transaction experience.

Tom has 28 years of banking and corporate finance experience and has spent the past 14 years focused on the healthcare industry. Tom has extensive experience in analyzing and underwriting growth and merger & acquisition financing and has worked with many of the leading middle market healthcare private equity firms in the U.S. Tom was one of three executive equity partners that developed the strategic and business plan for Healthcare Business Credit Corporation (HBCC) in 1997 and led HBCC from a concept company into one of the premiere middle market healthcare finance companies in the U.S. HBCC developed a full suite of debt products including: lines of credit, term loans, cash flow loans, and commercial mortgages to address the capital requirements of healthcare service companies. In 2005 HBCC was acquired by a subsidiary of CIT Group and used as their platform business to accelerate CIT's entry into the healthcare finance business. Tom has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences such as the NIC, Home Care 100, LTC 100, Strategic Research Institute's Annual Healthcare M&A Conference, and the Conference on Healthcare Transactions.

Dennis is a senior healthcare executive and consultant whose diverse background includes more than 30 years experience on both the business and clinical sides of healthcare. His early career as a practicing Physician Assistant paved the way for his transition from healthcare provider to healthcare executive following his graduation from Antioch University with a MA in Health Administration.
For 20 years Dennis served as Vice President of Kennedy Health System ($800M) in New Jersey, where he had oversight and leadership responsibility for all health system performance management operations, acute hospital services, family health centers, surgical centers, long term care centers, home care, ambulatory centers, outpatient rehabilitation centers, emergency departments, physician office practice sites.
Dennis is recognized for his work with the Disney® Organization in the collaborative development of the healthcare service model. The model is based on Disney's famous approach to guest services, as well as other strategies from other high-end service performing organizations i.e., Ritz Carlton, Federal Express, Nordstroms. This healthcare service model has been implemented at hospitals, clinics, ambulatory centers, physician practices and rehabilitation businesses and is now available to MHA clients.

Anna is a senior healthcare marketing communications professional with a progressive and diversified background in hospital, managed care, medical publishing & healthcare technology client-side settings. With more than 20 years in the healthcare industry, she is a dynamic writer and creative, she has been consistently recognized for achievement in problem solving and innovative communications solutions. As a seasoned business leader, she has built/ rejuvenated three in-house Marketing Departments and one Customer Service Unit.
Anna adds a wealth of experience in marketing communications, advertising/public relations, change management, social media, start-up operations, strategic planning and customer service to the MHA team.
