Hello, this is Paul Martin, founder and president of Martin Healthcare Advisors, and I am once again in an airport as I have been traveling all over the country the last few weeks meeting with PT business owners. And as we approach Thanksgiving, I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on something that I believe sometimes we take for granted. And that is the dedication and the heart of the small physical therapy privately held business owners in this industry. What you do is deeply personal. Your work actually changes lives.
Whether it's helping someone walk again, relieving pain, getting someone back to sport or back to work, or simply empowering your patients to regain their independence. It's not easy work. It's demanding. It's emotional. And it's relentless, but it's also incredibly impactful. And today, just take a moment to reflect on how you have impacted so many lives over this past year. And for that, again, we are grateful. We're grateful for those of you who work tirelessly to care for others and who give so much of yourselves to your patients as well as to your communities.
You know, I have had the privilege of getting to know personally many of the CEOs and leadership teams of the large rehab acquirers in this country. Many of these companies are private equity-backed. Let me tell you, they value the very same things you do. And they value what you bring to the table. Just yesterday, I interviewed two CEOs of two major companies and both emphasized that one of the most critical factors they look for in a future partner is a business with a culture of caring and great clinical outcomes.
A business that has left its mark on its local market through exceptional care as well as service. So this Thanksgiving, I want to say thank you. Thank you to all of you. Thank you for your attitude of generosity. And thank you for your commitment to helping people. I wish you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with love, gratitude, and togetherness. I pray for your safety as you celebrate this holiday. And from all of us at Martin Healthcare Advisors, have a happy Thanksgiving. Thank you, and have a great rest of your weekend. Okay.
