Hello, this is Paul Martin and welcome to another episode of the Martin Rehab M&A Advisory. This is going to be a special episode. It's going to be my Christmas special episode and so I hope you're all getting ready for Christmas and I hope you're all getting together with your families and I want to give you this message at Christmas. So, you know, as we approach Christmas, I've been reflecting on what this Christmas season, holiday season, what does it truly represent? And look, at its heart, Christmas is about giving.

It's a time when we pause and we really try to think about what can we offer to others. We have our time. We certainly have our resources. And most importantly for all of you, the care that you provide. And again, as rehabilitation business owners, giving is something that you do every single day. You give so much to your patients, helping them recover, helping them grow, helping them to live fuller lives. And I hope that gives you pleasure every single day because you are doing that whether you are sitting in an office or you're on the clinic floor.

You also give to your community and you create a space of healing and hope for those who need it the absolute most. You also, most of you, many of you, if not all of you, give to your profession, contributing to its growth, sharing your knowledge, and raising the standard of care for everyone in this incredible industry. You give to your staff, you give to your people, you support their growth, you support their livelihoods and their well-being. Did you ever know all these things that you do?

And of course, you also give to your families, providing love, stability, and joy to those most close to you. But this Christmas, with all that just said, I want to remind all of us, including myself, that there's even more that we can give. Right now in our world and in our country, there are so many people facing incredible challenges. Misfortune takes many forms and you all know that. Financial hardship, sickness, the loss of loved ones and struggles with mental and physical health. And so this is a season to recognize those struggles and to look beyond ourselves to help people that we don't even know.

And I know that is not easy, but it is one of the most meaningful things that we can do. And imagine if everybody listening to this right now did that, how many people we would touch. Acts of kindness and generosity towards strangers bring kind of a joy that is actually unmatched. And not just to those who receive it, but to those who are giving it as well. The opportunities to help are everywhere. Whether it's in your own community or across the globe, small or large, what matters is the genuine care and love that we show to others, especially when we show it to people we don't know.

And when we do this, I think we connect with the true meaning of Christmas. And so whatever your beliefs are, Christmas does represent the birth of the greatest giver of all. And we honor that birth and life. And we give selflessly with no expectation for return. So this holiday season, I encourage all of you to find moments to give, not just to the people you know and love, but to those who might need a little extra light in their loves. And there are a lot of those people out there today.

Sorry about that. From all of us at Martin Healthcare Advisors, we wish you and your families a very merry Christmas and may it be filled with joy, love, and the true spirit of giving. Thank you and have a great rest of your weekend.
